近十年,柔性无机电子飞速发展,并取得了巨大的成就。通过将硬质无机半导体材料整合至具有柔性衬底的精密结构布局中,可消除传统电子相关的二维刚性易碎的设计束缚,产生多种新型应用:如曲线电子、复合生物电子、表皮电子、瞬态电子以及可变形光电子等。

转印技术是一项可用于微加工及纳米制造的新兴装配技术,可将不同类别的材料异构合成至所需的功能布局中。它为柔性无机电子提供了工程领域机会,可使其在传统晶片型设备的基础上像橡胶一样变形,将预制无机半导体材料及设备转印至非传统的柔性衬底上。

Jizhou Song 教授和合作者们在 npj Flexible Electronics 发表了题为“Transfer printing techniques for flexible and stretchable inorganic electronics”的文章,该综述简要回顾了近来柔性无机电子转印技术的发展,对每种转印技术的基本概念进行了回顾、比较和总结(包括表面化学和胶水辅助转印技术、动力控制转印技术、激光驱动非接触式转印技术、壁虎式转印技术、蚜虫启发转印技术),并对其未来发展、应用及挑战进行了展望。

摘要:Transfer printing is an emerging deterministic assembly technique for micro-fabrication and nano-fabrication, which enables the heterogeneous integration of classes of materials into desired functional layouts. It creates engineering opportunities in the area of flexible and stretchable inorganic electronics with equal performance to conventional wafer-based devices but the ability to be deformed like a rubber, where prefabricated inorganic semiconductor materials or devices on the donor wafer are required to be transfer-printed onto unconventional flexible substrates. This paper provides a brief review of recent advances on transfer printing techniques for flexible and stretchable inorganic electronics. The basic concept for each transfer printing technique is overviewed. The performances of these transfer printing techniques are summarized and compared followed by the discussions of perspectives and challenges for future developments and applications.
