连续波激光锚定超长寿命电荷迁移的电子相干性延长

山西大学杨永刚课题组报道了连续波激光锚定超长寿命电荷迁移的电子相干性延长。相关论文于2025年2月13日发表在《物理评论A》杂志上。

据介绍,在理想情况下,电荷迁移(CM)将电子电荷从一个分子的一端相干地移动到另一端,周期从几百阿秒到几飞秒不等。

该研究组证明了设计良好的连续波激光器,可以将电子相干性延长两个数量级以上。这就实现了超长寿命的CM。以电子基态和第一激发态叠加制备的HCCI+为例,通过量子动力学模拟证明了这种效应。

成功的原因是直接控制三个激光参数,即场强、频率和载流子包络相位,使原子核锚定在frank - condon点附近,具有相等的两个电子态的居群。

Title: Prolongation of electronic coherence for ultralong-lived charge migration anchored by a continuous-wave laser

Abstract: In ideal scenarios, charge migration (CM) moves electronic charge coherently from one molecular end to the other, with periods from several hundred attoseconds to a few femtoseconds. Here we show that a well-designed continuous-wave laser can prolongate electronic coherence by more than two orders of magnitude. This enables ultralong-lived CM. The effect is demonstrated by quantum dynamics simulations for the example of HCCI+ prepared in a superposition of the electronic ground and first excited states. The success is due to straightforward control of the three laser parameters, i.e., the field strength, the frequency, and the carrier envelope phase, to anchor the nuclei close to the Franck-Condon point, with equal populations of the two electronic states.
