丙烯基硼酸酯是有价值的合成基元,引起了人们的极大兴趣。然而,它们的1,3-二酰基取代的类似物尚未被报道。
该文中,研究人员公开了一种从宝石碘二硼化合物和炔基格氏试剂制备1,3-二酰基二烯的新方法。起始材料首先转化为相应的炔丙基宝石双(硼酸酯),然后进行分子间的硼基转移,得到1,3-二酰基二烯烃,如机理研究所证实的那样。该方法具有良好的空间位阻耐受性,并与多种官能团兼容。

Title: Construction of 1,3-Diboryl Allenes from gem-Iododiboron Compounds via Intermolecular Boryl Group Transfer†

Abstract: Allenylboronates are valuable synthetic building blocks and have garnered significant interest. However, their 1,3-diboyl substituted analogs have not been reported. Herein, we disclosed a novel method for creating 1,3-diboyl allenes from gem-iododiboron compounds and alkynyl Grignard reagents. The starting materials are initially converted into the corresponding propargylic gem-bis(boronates), which then undergo an intermolecular boryl group transfer to afford 1,3-diboyl allenes, as confirmed by mechanistic studies. This method features good tolerance to steric hindrance and is compatible with a wide variety of functional groups.
